I just noticed when I got my Belkin Wireless Router I never got a CD...

Ok so today im having trouble getting internet to one of the computers on my wireless network and I was thinking about how my house is not WEP Encrypted and it needs to be...but how. So whatever....I still havent subscriber to my free trial parental control thingy whatever and again today i get the pop up to enable it (Belkin free parental control for 6 months) Well as im doing it i find there is a firmware update for my router...well i dont know how to update my router. when i find out how (the belkin control panel) i relize i never got a CD with my router....wtf am i supposed to do? i dont think i have my reciepct either! :| somone please help...

with Belkin's router its supposed to be some kinda control panel or some bullshit

Anyone ever realize this is one of the few wireless routers where you can't disable SSID broadcast?

...i need to start reading alot of hardware reveiws and stuff

why would you want to? you do know that disabling SSID broadcast is generally NOT a valid method of increasing security right???

a SSID is like a network name you assign to your access point. all your wireless devices need to have the same corresponding SSID with the access point to work. (that's the short answer)
