I just noticed something very suspicious.

Yeah, I'm bored, the kids are napping....I confess I was watching the Home Shopping Network....again

Anyway, I noticed during a vacuum segment demo that they always go so close in for the shot of the vacuum in action that they are actually pushing the pile of debris out of camera range in most instances. Then I started thinking about every mop/floor cleaner commercial I have seen in the past and they do the same thing.

Pay close attention next time you see a commercial or demo.
