Same here, cept I returned mine. Didn't like the reproduction of dark colors. Didn't care about the ghosting, just seeing pure black as light black bugged the hell out of me. Right now I'm fighting off the urge to buy a laptop from dell.

I know what you mean, I went to Conn's to check out a DVD player and ended up with a Mitsu 55" Widescreen HDTV! How the hell that happened, I'll never know. Maybe the 1 year no payments, no accrued interest had something to do with it. :)
Perzactly. I knew I was a goner when I saw that promo.

Right now there are a few different things I've been considering, but since I can only get one, the choice is between an Epson Perfection 1660 Photo scanner, a Fender standard strat, wait until I have a bit more money and get a flat panel, or just save the money and not get anything. I know the last choice is probably the best (since I don't need any of the aforementioned items), but it's hard for me to avoid spending the money when I have it. :D

Bahahah! Dayum! Talk about "overspending by just a wee bit!" :D $275 vs $2,750. Dayum. :Q Buy hey, you can't take it with you. That's my outlook on things. Why deny yourself anything? I mean, if Cameron Diaz won't give me the booty, then I'll just go buy $2K worth of stuff for my truck, right? Seems about right to me! :D

$275 for a VACUUM? K-mart has them for like 50 bucks all the time. It's not like you spend such an incredible amount of time with the damn thing that it warrants dropping 3 Benjamins on it... Gotta have a hobby I guess. :)

On 6/8 I went into a Honda dealership only to browse around, 2 hours later I drove home in a brand new 2002 Honda Accord SE. If I didn't get it for over $2,500 under dealer invoice then I wouldn't have bought it but damn!

34 car payments to go!

i know how u feel. i was on my way to NYC. i knew of a dealership w/a chevy prizm LSi with the options i wanted. it was only a 10 min detour. stopped it JUST TO SEE IT. 3 hrs later, i drove it off the lot. $6500 under invoice (includes rebates/incentives) or $11.5k out the door. but i'm ALMOST beginning to regret it. See my other posts about the problems (gas milage 20% less than sticker, drifiting to the left when i drive, stering wheel locks at a 30 degree angle after i park). yeah, they're all minor, but it's beginning to add up.

I did the same thing last week.

Then got Devil May Cry as an impulse buy too.
Then Ico.
Then Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Enjoy, it's a great system.

I can't afford impulse buying; I need to make sure it has a good performance/price ratio. I don't have a car or much money either; that could be why

. I think my Asian heritage plays a roll in this too.
