Sorry about that. Just hit the enter button too fast.

I just listed about 10 books on half.com. Good idea or bad?

good idea. at least you can recoup the partial costs of all those textbooks.

EDIT: altho, it may take a longass time for a buyer to come along, unless you have rare or less popular books

my experience is that half.com takes about 1/3 of your book cost and will cut you a check once your balance has reached 50+

Ok, now a real post.

I used amazon.com and people grabbed my books off like an all you can eat lobster buffet. Of course amazon took their cut, but all money was deposited to my bank acount without any min requirements.

half.com will deposit your money into a bank account every 2 weeks WITHOUT A MINIMUM. i sold $225 worth of books in the last few weeks and had half of it deposited around the 6th of Jan and i expect to have the rest about the 20th. They have taken $42 total.

That's what the original guy posted. Now it's escalated to this.

Good, as long as you understand it may take some time to sell.
Yeah, sometimes it does. It's a good time to be posting them, cause a lot of people are looking for books now. I had some listed last year sometime, and one of them just sold the other day for $20 less then I paid for it :). The extra cash will be nice :D
