She didn't even flinch, and seeing me keel over in pain (I was barefoot and we had b0ne-to-bone contact) she took the opportunity to snatch the ball away from me.
She started breathing heavily
but so far she looks fine...I think I knocked the wind out of her
Basically, like always, she likes to have me dribble ball, and then I give it a good kick in the air for her to catch (she usually does). Our backyard has a small hill running across it and she jumped the gun and jumped off it it in an effort to catch the ball before I kicked it.
I wasn't playing seriously or anything, so I wasn't expecting her to do that and we made contact.
Damn dog....:| I there lying in pain and she is wagging her tail looking at me with a grin on her face and the ball now in her procession:|
I'm just glad she's alright. I massaged her jaw and gave her a few treats just make sure she won?t talk to the authorities
She is a large German shepherd btw
