I just installed a HTPC with Boxee, but i believe the hulu add-in is gone? true?

I wouldve went with Windows media center, but i use hulu all the time. I just installed boxee for the first time and i cant find hulu. has it been removed? Thanks

It may have been. They have a love/hate relationship. You can download hulu desktop and use that for the interface.

I use my phone. They have a remote ported to android, so it works like a champ...

Hulu might still be on the additional plugins page? I don't think they're dropping support, but hulu always causes them trouble, I think they'll get it working eventually.

Also, most of the TV shows are folded into the built in TV shows category.

That add-on is old. You don't need one anymore. It works natively because they changed the way Boxee requests video from Hulu so that it opens a webbrowser and goes to Hulu that way (you can briefly see the browser window popup sometimes when starting a video). That way, Hulu doesn't know that you're using Boxee, all it sees is the browser.

I'm guessing at some point Hulu may find a new way to block Boxee, but as of now you can watch videos directly from Boxee's interface.
