1) why the fvck are the heatsinks so hard to put on? i felt like i was going to break something

Heatsinks aren't nearly as stressful or dangerous as "0 force" insertion slots... Try inseritng RAM in a cramped case... then you'll know true anxiety and you might just cut yourself
