stomach now hurts. I drank 1.5 liters of water. hoping to aid digetstion. 🙁
ummmmmmmm.... lol

Congratulations, you've "put out the fire" in your attempt to "aid digestion".

Hint: Water's pH is generally about 7.

Your stomach's acid pumps are going "OMG TEH ALKALINITY! PUMP PUMP PUMP PUMP"

yeah all that chemistry babble just went over my head 🙁
Not that drinking water with a meal is bad, but 1.5L was probably a little overkill. 😉

Wow, I actually thought the Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwich would be more calories than that. I had one the other day and was wondering. I figured they'd be closer to 600 calories. 50% fat, though, yum!!!! 😀

thats funny cuz i got it from this girl thats from north of boston.

Do you guys know what a refeed is? When you're cutting (dieting you could say), people suggest that once a week you eat 4500-5000 calories to increase the leptin levels in your body. 5000 calories of clean food -no fast food, no doughnuts, etc-is insane. But you feel like a monster at the gym.

We call it Dunks here in Everett.

Btw, onion bagel with cream cheese or with egg and cheese tastes so good !

I don't think we have any Dunkin Donuts left here in Minneapolis. I actually preferred them to Krispy Kreme, which is now all the rage. I miss Dunkin Donuts. 🙁

read up on leptin and refeed days. If done properly, usually once a week, eating 5000 CLEAN calories will not only give you more strength to lift harder at the gym, building more muscle, but the secretion of leptin allows you to burn more fat. I do it once a week with a lot of steak and yams.

What defines "clean"?

Low fat, high protein and carbs?

Dunkin Dounuts own all. Did anybody try those cinnamon sticks they had a few months ago. One heated cinnamon stick and a coffee was the best thing ever.

Low fat, high protein and carbs?

Disregarding the macronutrient breakdowns on refeed days, "clean" simply means clean foods. No enriched flour, high fructose corn syrup-really no junk. Best way to describe clean is this:

Meal 1: Oats with some protein powder (probably whey) with some water or fat free milk.
Meal 2: Natural Peanut butter on whole wheat bread.
Meal 3: Lean meat with veggies and brown rice.
Meal 4: Whole wheat pita with hummus
Meal 5: Lean meat with veggies and brown rice.
Preworkout: 2 Scoops of 100% ON Whey in fat free milk with a Kashi Bar.
Post workout: Pita with hummus and another protein shake.

I usually ditch the dinner or meal 5 since I don't want to workout on a full stomach.

Thats about 2700 calories, which is what I consume daily. For a refeed, just eat more of what I listed to get you to 4000 calories. Thats a LOT of food. PM me with any other questions🙂
