Thunder and lightning!

First thunderstorm here in NYC. Makes me feel good that this shitty Winter is over. 🙂 I turned off all my lights and am looking at the rain fall right now. Even in the ghetto, a good rain can make me happy. 🙂

Are you sure it's the rain? Or basking in the glow of ATOT on your monitor 😛

Saw the lightning first, then came the thunder and hail.

Hail? Ouch, we rarely get hail here in the city.

Yeah, I know. I'm about 30 minutes north of you. It lasted for about 3 minutes. Storm is moving kinda quickly.

Hail?! Shit. I just put in skylights and have actually been looking forward to watching the first lightning storm through the kitchen ceiling. Didn't think of hail. Last year may have ended one of my favorite pastimes of standing out on the porch and watching the storms move through. 3 strikes to the ground next to my house within 10 minutes is enough to keep me off the porch.

Yeah, the rain stopped already, but you can hear thunder in the distance still. I wish it would have lasted a bit longer.

I wish I could experience something like that...lol

I have zero fear of electricity, zero fear of storms, zero fear of dying. Lightning scares the shit out of me though.

Yeah, really nice little cell came roaring through Connecticut too. Not too big, not too violent, just enough to say that spring is here.
