I just learned that in the 4th grade, My teacher thought I had a learning disablity, Though testing scores, and everything else prior had shown that I was an above average student, she thought I was STUPID!! 🙂 LOL!! this to me is very hilarious, out of our class of 12 (small school) I would be put into the top three.

Im currently taking AP Calculus and Physics and have taken Cheminstry. (sorry for braggin abit but Im trying to set a point) This teacher was Psycho, I have always thought that she was stupid, now I come to find that she was just treating me like I was stupid 🙂 still very funny to me, is the fact that if anyone was mentally disabled, it was her own children who she herself constantly puts on a pedistal to this day.

If this is a bit of a rant I'm sorry, I guess the moral of this story is you never know what others think about you.

For a person thats so smart, you can't spell chemistry or psycho right. How dissappointing.

 
I was placed in remedial math in 3rd - 7th grade. After 7th grade the school still deamed me inadequate in math (because I couldn't complete a timed test fast enough). Anyways, the worst grade I got on a H.S. Math Regents test was a 96, got a 760 on the math section of the SAT's and am about 3 credits shy of a B.S. in Math.
 
(BTW I know how to spell chemistry, Just added an extra n 🙂 I do that sometimes when I get typing to fast, as for Psycho bahh, stupid silent h's)
 
The whole story just strikes me as funny as this is one of the teachers that has a bad reputation for being, substandard. And I always got the impression that she was treating me like an idiot, but was also treating the rest of the class as such.
 
Ok your taking AP Chem etc. So your.... a junior or senior in high school, yet you still hold this..grudge on a 4th grade teacher. Ummm...chill?
 
🙂 no no no, it was not AP Chem (at least I dont think it was), and I just found out about this about 30 mins ago from my parents, so I dont think it was much of a grudge. It something that I think was fairly funny, I guess you would have to live here to know.
 
when i was in grade school, my teacher though i had add or something because i would get out of my seat and wander around the class. turns out, i was learning the stuff so fast i just got bored and walked around.
