The newchipset comming out that supports an 8x agp and 8 gigs of ram: does anyone know of any mobo manufacturers that will use it their new boards? I think I will get one of those when they come out, but what do you guys think of it?

Yeah, they all will, about the same time that parallel port IDE shows up on boards. Whew... just think about all this. Man my Athlon is looking like a Pentium Pro...

Those are advancements, but we still don't tax 4x AGP yet. Bandwidth between CPU and videocard is not the bottleneck. And addressing 8 gigs of RAM isn't neccessary unless you are running rendering farm or hosting these here forums.

But, I'm with ya, bring on the speed baby...
