this has never happened. Nero has never given me any problems.

I was trying to burn a movie and i got 2 buffer underruns in a row! then i rebooted, and tried again...and i got another one. This happens at about the 6% mark. The "used buffer" bar slowly goes down from 99% to 0%. then it gets the error. i've got all my devices on separate channels.

this might help: i installed fireburner today, and i burned a few .bin files.
does anyone know what could be going on? this just happened all of a sudden. i was burning cds fine a few hours ago, until this happened...

thx in advance :)

It might be the file you are trying to burn. Try using a different CDr program.

Another thing you might want to try is to reinstall nero. Once I was getting buffer underuns everytime I tried to burn something, reinstalled Nero and they all dissapeared.

im sure there is something running in the background (or the foreground if u are surfing) that causes this. i have a 4x burner that does not get underruns as long as i do not run ANYTHING while it is burning.

Have you checked Fireburn's home page? Look at their FAQ and check their forums. One possibility is that there might be a conflict with Nero and Fireburner.
