I just got the Swiftech MCX159 for my NB

Hey!


I just removed the NB fan on my Asus A8N Deluxe mobo, and installed the
MCX159, with the fan the temp is fine, but if i remove the fan (which i like to do)
the sink gets real hot...

Does anyone here use the MCX159 ??
And how hot can the NB get before its dangerous??

It may be ok, if it's too hot to touch then it's time to switch to something else. If you want to passively cool your NB you should have looked at Zalman's heatsinks, the Swiftech isn't really designed to be run passively.
