I'm curious to see what your experience with it is. I mulled over the idea of getting one of their courses; but the $250 asking price per course (two, in my case) was a little steep for me.
They are supposed to be the best course out there...short of actually learning the language from someone who speaks it properly. Castillian (sp?) Spanish vs. Texican for example.

I'm in the same boat. For $250 I can hire 5 mexicans to hang around my house all day untill I just absorb the language!

I took spanish in highschool and befriended the spanish foreign student in my CS department and trust me mexican and spanish are 2 totally different languages. It's like calling ebonics english.
Uh, that's the whole point. There's no memorization. You pick up all vocabulary and grammer through deduction, and each section builds on the last.Originally posted by: purbeast0
I have used the spanish 1 and 2 ones. they are pretty cool but some of the stuff you can learn pretty easily through process of elimination on some of the lessons.
for instance, they will have 4 pictures and a woman will speak a word in spanish. then you click on the picture corresponing to the word or sentence she just said.
then the next one will be the 4 same pictures, but in a different ordering, and the woman will say another word or sentence.
it happens 4 times in a row like that w/the same 4 pictures, and usually the pictures are all very similiar, like 4 pictures - 1 white boy, 1 black boy, 1 white girl, 1 black girl. those types of pictures.
but then again i haven't used it too much.
