I just got the estimated shipdate for my X60s :(

Estimated Ship Date: 10/09/06. My question is what should my next aciton be? To cancel the order or will it ship earlier than that? I think the only thing holding it back is the 8-cell battery i ordered. Is there anyway to tell lenovo that they can ship the 8-cell after they ship everything else?

EDIT: I looked at the order confirmation sheet to confirm my thoughts and i was right: Everything was suppossed to ship in 10 days or less except the 8-cell which would be 3-4 weeks. I could probably cancel the 8-cell and order it in a separate order or i could just buy a new one off ebay and get it a lot faster...Thoughts?

Email them with your order number and ask them to ship the laptop and the battery seperately. They did it for me with my recent order of a new wireless card and second hard drive adaptor.

I agree but when your order confirmation says 10 days at most and it comes back as 21 days after calling lenovo, its disappoiting to say the least.
