Yeah... well I was vacuuming and the cord got caught in the brush. I went to turn it off, and apparently just as I was touching the switch the brush cut through the wire, and I got shocked.

I'm kind of a hypochondriac, so basically I need some comfirmation that I'll be alright.

Or do you guys suggest I got to a hospital or something? Thanks in advance.
 
If you're able to type that, I'd say you should just go have a slice of pie to make sure you're ok. Some espresso with that would be great.
Cake would be ok, but pie > cake.

You're fine. You are able to sit down and type...so everything is probably okay. I've gotten zapped before. It stuns ya but that's about it.

Of course, I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on TV.

If there weren't any lasting effects and you're able to post this thread, you're most likely fine.

Of course, there's always a small chance it did some undetectable damage that will eventually kill you, but I wouldn't worry about that. 😛
 
doesn't everyone get shocked at least once in their life? it's really not a big deal at all unless your heart stopped or got hurt right there
