hes a bigtime scam artist. I've never been screwed in an online deal, buying or selling. this is the worst situation, if you guys have never had it happen.

I wouldl feel really shitty if it was a car or somehting, as people say a lot of bad deals happen on ebay motors

Ya seriously. I find adults to be far worse when it comes to swindling others out of money. Especially in the business world. The only difference is that many of their swindles are not technically against the law.

sheesh, this person will end up being an adult like that. He is actually 21, he tells me now, and says his major in college is business marketing. His paypal account says xxxxxxxx snatcher ETP entertainment

so he has an entertainment partners business with the "highace13@live.com" as the email contact.

I never should have trusted the guy in the first place, he had 0 ebay feedback, a shady listing, and a great price on a computer. I just thought it was a noob, not a scam artist. He ended up being a combination of both a newb & a scammer, as he gave me every bit of his personal info & contatct stuff, and then all the names and aliases on various forums before we did the transaction.

So i kind of protect myself on the frontend just incase of a situation like this, but I wasn't really thinking it would happen. the best part in our conversation went like this:

TurTvn (7:25:00 PM): hey matt
TurTvn (7:25:06 PM): It's Jared
TurTvn (7:26:22 PM): Hey man, I'm trying to call you and email you - why are you not responding?
TurTvn (7:27:58 PM): Alright - i'll give you 3 days, then i want a refund of my money, regardless of wether or not you've shipped the computer.
TurTvn (7:46:04 PM): okay, i am posting this matter into your forums on which the poker sites you are a member, maybe then you will start responding.
mmatsch13 (7:51:13 PM): hey, let me know you when your recieve the laptop via regular mail, i have no tracking number, i sent it out with the mailman because i figured you wanted it asap... and then when you get it, you can take all that bad shit off on which youve ruined my reputation

and then this....

TurTvn (7:51:59 PM): did you send the laptop or not?
mmatsch13 (7:52:07 PM): what the fuck did i just say you jackass?
mmatsch13 (7:52:10 PM): its fucking sent
mmatsch13 (7:52:11 PM): when you get it
mmatsch13 (7:52:14 PM): remove the posts
TurTvn (7:52:17 PM): when did you send it?
TurTvn (7:52:23 PM): how much does it weigh?
mmatsch13 (7:52:24 PM): staurday 11c
mmatsch13 (7:52:30 PM): 2.2 pounds
TurTvn (7:52:42 PM): That laptop weight 4.8lbs by itself
TurTvn (7:52:55 PM): I will continue to post these things
TurTvn (7:53:01 PM): & contact Police
mmatsch13 (7:53:25 PM): contact the police
mmatsch13 (7:53:32 PM): i didnt do anything wrong
TurTvn (7:53:36 PM): Do you plan to send me a refund?
mmatsch13 (7:53:53 PM): yeah
TurTvn (7:53:59 PM): send it now

o_O the guy has the thought process of a 12 year old. My little sister could pull off a more convincing scam AIM convo.

I would be careful the way you talk to people because you never know who is the other person on the other end of line. They could whole a grudge against you. Then come kill you and your family. I seen it happen quite a few times.

I was thinking that pcslookout is a bit like John Madden, but then I remembered that John Madden says things that are actually true.

In any case, I'd have held the Paypal'd money as a deposit pending the chargeback. Keep it if the chargeback fails, return it if the refund works out.
