Wow! You really need to get this cd if you like them. Amazing!

Definitely... Did you get the one with the videos included, or just the cd?

Another good album I picked up was "Red Hot Chili Peppers - Outakes and Demos 1985-1988" (yes outtakes is spelled outakes) - Very rare but very good.

<-- Hardcore RHCP fan...

i got it about a month ago...it is aWESOME.

Wait...did you get the one that covers through californication, or the original GH's?
The original I didn;t like. THis past one I bought is great.

What's the point of a fan getting a greatest hits album? If you really like the group you've got all their regular releases. Greatest Hits compilations are geared for the casual listener, not the hardcore fan.

The greatest Hits CD also comes with a DVD of all music videos and a Behind the Scenes tour video

Well, it doesn't "come with" the DVD, it's not a bonus or a gift. There are 2 versions of RHCP Greatest Hits, a CD only version and one with the DVD. The one with the DVD is $10-$12 more. To get the DVD not only do you have to spend the cash for it, you need to waste the cash on the CD of songs a fan would already own.

And a hardcore fan wouldnt mind spending that extra money to get extra footage. 😀

Also, most people (even hardcore fans) dont like every song on all the albums. This CD gives a nice collection from most of their CDs, and its good just to pop in and drive to and not worry about skipping one or two tracks.
