now my mouth feels numb and my eyes are falling asleep.

that's what you get for being jabbed in the mouth for 2 cavaties.

Initially I had 2 cavaties, but apparently the damage was on the next tooth (it was inbetween) so both tooth were done. I had one cavaity on the lower right side, and another on upper left side.

I feel violated.. what should I do to prevent the numbness. I feel like I have a swollen cheek and lips. If someone kissed me now I would have no feeling of it.. my tounge is numb too.. and because of the local anesthsia.. my other parts are failing too.. my eyes are falling asleep and my fingers arent typing right. i can feel its effecats down here ..

Now, impacted wisdom teeth, that just cant be yanked out by themselves and they gotta take part of the bone with it, now that hurts, and is a bitch.

i wanted to do it without the local anesthetic.. but the guy said it would be better .. I used to have it in india without the local anesthetic.. so i didnt see a reason to go with it.. but anyway they jabbed me with it.. I think its more of a "liablity" issue than actual pain issue.

Lost one tooth in the service and had the Dentist there give me a local and then pull the tooth IMMEDIATELY before the local took effect. Why suffer needlessly??

I agree you dont need to be put to sleep like a lot of the ads today but...............

what hurts is the anestetic needle

and i've had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. the most painful part was the anestethic needle. but the most aweful part was the dentist breaking the tooth into parts because he couldnt remove it whole. all that drilling, yanking, cracking noises...scarred me for life.

A man can reproduce this type of pain. Eat a three piece meal with extra slaw from KFC. Then Mix up a box of Hersheys Extra thick super fudge brownies, eat the entire box of batter. Next, do NOT drink any liquids from the time you finish until the time your ready to have your BM. Now when your movement comes then next day, it will be large, gas powered(remember the xtra slaw?) and Dry...and to top it all off, it will try to squeeze out of an exit the size of a dime.
