it appears that my monitor plug to my new PC is too small to fit. The plugs in my PC have two pretty big plugs right next to each other, their identical unlike my old Alienware which has one big one and one little one. I'm pretty down right now since I wanted to get this thing up and running tonight.

So I goto CompUSA, I get run around to the only guy out of 10 people who knows anything about computers. I ask him if they have any adapters, he tells me I probably need a VGA to DVI adapter but he also says it doesnt make sense that my computer wouldnt have a VGA plug. He tells me all video cards have them. He tells me I should double check all around my computer to look for it since it should have it. I ask just in case it doesnt, do they have them. He tells me that they dont and their hard to find.

Can someone tell me what exactly I need here, and was Ibuypower supposed to include this adapter or whatever it is with the shipped computer?(I only got the tower setup, no monitor). And where is the best place to buy one of these asap? I'd rather be able to go out and buy one first thing tomorrow if possible.

Thanks for any suggestions. Oh and I have a 7800 GT on the computer I cant get the monitor to plug into.

DVI->VGA adapter

Text

Any brand will do. Nowadays it is common to have 2 DVI ports instead of 1 VGA and 1 DVI port since LCD screens with DVI in are more prevalent.

Yes, IBuyPower should have included two adapters since you usually get two when you buy the 7800GT from other resellers.
