I'm about to head out and buy a nicer set of speaker to take at least some advantage of the HDMI sound. Also, got my PS3 hooked up to it, games look amazing @ 1080p. I was going to buy a $250 1080p monitor til i saw this baby for 144.99. Couldn't pass it up.

console games are not truly 1080 so no they don't look amazing on a 1080 monitor. a console version of a pc game looks like washed out ass in comparison. you are just excited to have a new toy.

I was just being honest. I have compared console and pc versions on my monitor and its night and day. again console games are not truly 1080 so calling them amazing looking on a 1080 pc monitor is silly.

Don't worry OP, to many a 22" monitor isn't too exciting, but I remember moving from a 19" CRT to a $300 (on sale from $350!) 19" 1440x900 LCD from Circuit City. I was on top of the PC gaming world... even if I was on socket A and a 6800 n/u.

BFBC2 actually displays on 1080p, the console it self scales it, considering this only a 22" monitor, there is no /very little loss of quality. I can tell you that much because it covers the entire screen. 720p games, such as MLB the show, leave black areas around the image. Not to mention, that if you DIDN'T know, there are a few PS3 games that can run on full 1080p, that includes FFXIII and upcoming GT5.

To the haters...go suck it, not everyone has 42" LCD monitors to spare.
