I just got MSI TV Tuner - Leaves ALOT to be desired!!! and I can't get remote to work!!!

Does anyone else have this POS? I mean it works and everything thru the software, but I can't get the remote to work, is ther some kinda software that has to be installed to make it work? And the software that comes with it ain't that great. It just looks like MSI didn't put a whole lot of effort into this thing. Got a few errors setting it up too. Anyone else?

Are you using XP SP1? It's documented that the remote will not work under it. Either, wait for MSI's patch or don't use SP1 .

AHA!!! yes I am using XP SP1. I guess that would explain that. But I sure ain't gonna take off the Service Pack, guess Ill wait for the patch.

I was reading on the MSI forums that they fixed the SP1 remote thing....
