resumedit: resume

draft-level so far. tear the sucker apart.

If you would like my unaltered resume let me know and I can provide you with a link.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I didn't have much to say, and am still perplexed about today's happenings. While I could sulk in the fact that I gave my all to a company that just happened yo lay me off today, my birthday, that is for another time, and another place.
What I need now is ADVICE so I can take care of what really matters later:
Important details:
  • -I was laid off due to outsourcing and the break was quick and clean but not out of malice. The company and I have a good standing and they have assured me that I will have no problem receiving recommendation letters etc.
    -I am canceling every service I have immediately (except mobile phone + data) and am paying what bills are pending.
    -I have not notified CC's about this just yet and would like to know how to proceed on that front
    -I need to know if I should peruse unemployment immediately (never done that before). I was laid off and was in good standing and need to know how this works.
    -I will put netflix on the 90 day hiatus that they offer
    - I will go for a nice long run to clear my head
    Due to school debt I have no investments at this time
Any advice is appreciated. I will provide my resume later.
Today is my birthday so I will attempt to make the best of this afternoon by celebrating that which I have not lost today: friends and family.
This kind of a post in a thread like this is unacceptable trolling. Don't do it again. -Anandtech Moderator DrPizza
Couldn't this have served as an update to your thread? At least people would stop hounding you about it.
Also, bummer, sorry to hear that.
