I just got laid off.

and I'm one of em. Oh well, it was a sinking boat anyway.

But I was really hoping to find a job before i get laid off. Life goes on...

The VP of Theraputic and the CFO (!!!!) quit this week, both claimed having found other jobs.

I was a Research Associate working for Target Validation... basically I support other research groups with their "targets", or potential drugs and supply them with data. I'm very surprised they fired our whole group... but I guess they're going to try to make everyone figure out their own data from now on.

I'm home early since there's no point in staying... My last day in Thursday and all of us who are laid off will be given one month salary... its not a lot, but hopefully I can find a job by then. I am going to have to apply for unemployment as well. =( I thought I would never have to do it... but such is life.

They told me I couldn't cash out my sick hours. Is that normal?

Oh btw, I did raid the office supplies hehe.
