Somebody just tried to hack into my computer from:

cdm-66-233-90-21.slsp.cox-internet.com

which I traced back to LA California.
los angeles

Is there anyway I can figure out who this is?

Wow, im pretty sure that you JUST posted the same thread a day ago....and it got locked....there was a reason for that

Come on...Big Bucks...Come on Big Bucks...AND STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you pursue maintaining computer security in the same manner in which you pursue posting here.. ie, with no regard to the directions or the rules, I'm pretty sure the above poster is correct.

The world would be a much better place if you simply never touched a computer again.

Wow, you guys are harsh.

Before you guys take my head off, let me explain. I did post this thread in highly technical earlier, if you look at that thread, a poster by the name of eigen advised me to post this problem in networking. By accident I posted the thread not in "networking", but "highly technical", an accidental repeat post. I'm sorry if I offended you, as i said, it was a mere accident.

Pretty difficult to find out who it is, because for all you know, this system has an unsecure proxy, or have been compromised.

Best thing is to figure out where your holes are and just fix it on your end.

He wasn't hacked anyways. Most people that are informed enough to know that they were hacked and get the person's IP are informed enough to know what to do about it. Most other people who think they've been hacked are just freaking out over zonealarm warnings or whatever. Move on everybody, nothing to see here...
