Went out to the local Gamestop today, and I started playing the demo of Zelda, and I just had to have it, it was just too sweet. So I dropped some cash and picked up a Gamecube, Memory card 251, Zelda and Metroid Prime (free!)(heard it was good, people here liked it). Whats more, they gave me a Zelda watch, which doesnt seem too bad, it isnt a wristband type, but a clip to your belt type. AND they threw in this disc with both Zelda Ocarina of Time and Zelda Master Quest on it! Sweetness!

Only downside is they had absolutely no platinum cubes whatsoever. I couldnt find one anywhere. So I opted for the Jet Black number, which looks sweet, but Im beginning to wonder, should I have waited for some Platinum cubes to get in stock?

Im blown away. I walked away with a tubload of gaming goodness for less than what I paid for my Dreamcast back during its launch (and its worth EVERY penny).

I dont know when the hell Im going to get the time to sit down and play this, but I must return to Zelda..... Aryll needs saving.
 

Oops, I forgot to mention that I went to Atlantic City last night and finished the night up $195.....

Good ol' Ballys, financed my cube.
 
I like the black GC better because you can get 3 black gamecube controllers. I think the platinum looks the best, but it's just too hard to find platinum controllers. I guess this is only the case for me because I like to have things color coordinated.

I picked up mine today. I'm letting my brother play. Exams and essays due soon. 🙁 Can't be distracted. I dare not turn it on and make my own file.

i think it looks better than the black, but no where near as cool as platinum.

Good choice on buying a cube. Wait till you experience the wireless wavebird. It's absolutely perfect, and playing without wires is an incredible experience.

let me see, in total it came to ~$230.

Thats the cheapest system Ive ever bought with 3 games and a mem card (the 251 too).

It may not the best deal judging from the people around here. But I think its fair.
 
I keep hoping that Nintendo will release either a Cube in Cobalt like the new GBA SP, or Spice (orange) like is available over in Japan.

GF needs a Cube, and I'm sure she would like my Jet cube. 🙂
