I hear that the 'feds' are going to allow telemarketers to call cell phones soon. The good news is that there is a national blocking number we can call to get it blocked for 5 years. And no, I won't give you the number. :evil:

I didn't think they were allowed to do that since most cell phone companies charge to recieve txt messages. Of course that is assuming you don't have txt included in your contract. Is this possibly something from an account were you forgot to "opt out" of some advertising? If not this trend greatly worries me.

Most plans I know of charge $0.10 recieve or send. This should be criminal. I block SMS on all phones on my plan for this very reason.

Verizon now charges $.10 per message recieved or sent (unless you bought the TXT add-on package) according to the CSR I talked to the other day.
