I think this is a BS call paving the way for them to do away with customers who use the ATT sim. I dont stream any audio or video, just browsing

You get what you pay for, and in the corporatocracy here in the USA, that is never much.

If you don't live in the middle of no where, go with T-Mobile ST.

There's no conspiracy here, they've whined about data usage and even cut off service for years apparently. Definitely long before this whole ATT sim thing.

This. They have done the automated calls in the past and it is not because of the att sim thing.

Expect to be throttled (probably), and if you do just submit a ticket on their fb page and be unthrottled after 1-2 days.

I've been throttld by them twice and I only web browse mostly, but use 1-1.5 gb of data. I've been unthrottled both times after using the facebook ticket request.

I just switched from straight talk to tmobile prepaid. Straight talk sucks. My data speeds are horrendous with both ATT/Tmobile sim cards. Seems to be an issue with their network or something because after I complained they reset my connection and things were ok for a couple of days only... then bam it was shit again.

Now I'm on the $70 tmobile plan.. in 1 1/2 days... used 3 GB of data already LOL. XBMC/Youtube/Spotify... bandwidth hogs.

And this is why I just go ahead & pay for a 4GB plan with Verizon. Yeah it costs but I'd pay more treating my high blood pressure after receiving an automated warning call about light data use.

I've been with Straight Talk since the E71 days, before they sold you SIM cards so you could BYOD.

I've never received a message of any kind about my data usage. I also just browse, e-mail, no media streaming on cell data.

Check your bandwidth monitor. What's your usage over the last day/week?
