I just got an Abit IC7-MAX3 and it did not fit in my ATX case !!

Because of that little fan in the back and and the audio connectors are too high to fit through the back opening !!
I had an Epox mobo that I removed before and it was a perfect fit for the mobo and the back metal cover that came with it ..!! Neither the mobo nor the metal cover that came with it fit in the back opening !!
I am baffeled !!! I need to buy a case but I am not sure which one will work !

You should have gotten a back plate with the new Motherboard. Since you're saying that it did not fit the case you have now, then you just need to make sure it will fit any new case you are going to buy. Actually, I'm not sure why it wouldn't fit in your present case, unless it is a "non-standard" ATX or possibly a mini-ATX. Any "standard" ATX case should work with that back plate though unless there is something specific about the Abit board, but I doubt that is the case.
