I just got a Trek 510 for free! :)

My sister bought it from a co-worker for $40 but it was too big for her, so now it's mine.

How good are the components? Not sure what year it is.

It looks like an older model...looks like it's in good shape though. Beauty of those frames is everything is replaceable if need be.

its a mid level road bike so the components should be decent... good thing about dt friction shifters is that they are reliable. if you have a day, clean and degrease all the drivetrain components... replace cables & housing and they should all work like a champ
