I just got a pay raise!

I got a call from my boss this morning and he informed me that starting this Friday I'd be getting a pay raise from $8.50 - $10.25! That's almost 20%! He said some of the higher ups suggested that my pay be raised, and wanted to let me know that people in the department were taking notice of the job I'm doing.

I know it's only 2:15 EST, but :beer: for everyone!

cool. I wish my job pay raises reflected my work, but in a company of 2500+, raises from personal evaluation just don't work here.

I do get a % raise every year though, and its time again this year. I should see the difference in my next pay stub.

It helps that I'm one of only 4 student employees in the department and we all have different bosses, so if one of us does something good, it definitely gets noticed by our boss.
