Evening all.
I just bought a Mac IIci from a friend who was clearing his house out. (Peanuts really, I offered him £10 for it (about $13?)) Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have some cool ideas with what to do with it?
Its an excellent little machine, its still fully functional.
Motorola 68030 - 25mhz
12 Meg Ram (4 mb onboard)
Onboard video - but video expansion card installed.
Radius Rocket expansion card installed - upgrades the CPU to either a 40 mhz '030 or a 25mhz '040 (I havent found out which varient it is)
It works. Yeah great... but I dont use Macs a lot (Hey, Ive got a PC...)
Anyway I could do a lot with it, use it properly, turn it into a pimped out Mac (ala Virtual-Hideout casemod style), or perhaps fit PC components into the box? It would be really cool to walk into a LAN party with a little IIci (and the cases are small, but I'm sure a PC mobo would fit) and secretly be hiding a PC inside
What do people think? Any crazy ideas?
