I just got a job!

I had an interview almost two weeks ago for an Administrative Assistant position for a local bank. I was supposed to hear back by the end of the week after - I called on Thursday, and was told the lady was out of town for a while and didn't get all the other interviews done, and that I should hear back by the end of the next week (which is the current week).

I just received a call several minutes ago -- was offered the job, starting any time that's convenient for me, and an hourly wage $0.50 higher than I asked for on the application! :Q

I'm so incredibly happy now -- have been unemployed for over three weeks, and I'm starting to feel the lack of money.

 and :cookie: for all! 😀

Good luck with the job. I would imagine working at a bank would be fun, if you aren't a teller.

I'm hoping so - about 60% front-end work (teller, customer service rep, etc) and ~40% behind-the-scenes (paperwork, running documents to lawyers' offices, etc). Definitely better than sitting around all day 🙂

Yeah, I wouldn't mind some teller work however I couldn't do it day in and day out.
