i just feel like bragging, cause im proud of myself :p

all mens jackets at jcpenney are 50% off... which brought it down to $125... then my employee discount made it around $100.. and yesterday we had a $15 off $75 coupon.. so it ended up being $89 and some cents.

The cheapest way to get expensive jackets is to buy it another season, though. The $250+ jackets could be as cheap as $50.

So buy someone a leather jacket during summer and hide it, in advance for the holidays. ;) :eek:

I got a $530 leather jacket for $220 for my girl =) Place was going out of business, and their sign said "20%-70%" off. So he offered to give it to me for $450, and I kept threatening to leave and trying to walk out, and he kept decreasing the price. I thought a $300 discount was good enough, so I bought it =)

Exactly...

Thats the best time to buy clothes period when its out of season.... Whenever some place like the GAP switches from summer to fall clothing, items get price slashed which makes it more reasonable. Depending on your location, you can still wear those summer clothes that you got for like 50% for a little bit before it gets cool.

dont get any ink on it....i work at a drycleaners, a surprising amount of people get ink on a leather jacket and its a bitch to get off without ruining the color.

My wife picked up a $200 leather mini-skirt last weak for about 30-40 dollars. Man, I can't wait to go out with her in it.
