Nice score. Dont pay attention to the jerks around here, instead of ignoring something they might not care about they crap your thread. I understand how it can be exciting to push you systems and want to share your results. I enjoy reading what other people have done. Congrats!

You got the extra speed because of the drivers. The 81.xx drivers have optimizations for dual-core processors. Without them, you would have gotten a normal score for a 7800GTX. Nice score BTW. I got 4000 on my 6600GT.

I have a 9367 using the 77.77 drivers, so that isn't out of normal range for an OCed 7800gtx.

i was actually referring to knifemyglitter....
yours seems a lot more reasonable since you have your core clocked at 567
but knifemyglitter shouldn't come close to your score with his core clocked at 520 and lower memory clock
wouldn't you agree?
by the way....what kinda cooling r u running on your gtx?
that's some impressive oc...did you do a voltmod?

It says I had the core at 567mhz, but that isn't accurate. For some reason it has always reported my core too high (?). I think it may have to do with the fact that my card was factory OCed. I normally run at 520mhz, but for that test I think I was at 525mhz (on a cool night I can OC it that high, but normally 520 is all I can do without artifacting errors). Also, my RAM is running at 1465, but it says 1458. I'm not sure if that is what I was running at the time or if it read it inaccurately (?).

At any rate, no I don't volt mod. I use a Koolance GPU cooler. Here is my rig. Notice that the Koolance only has 1/4 ID lines, so I have a line running parrallel to it that is free of restriction to keep up the flow. It works quite well. I idle average at about 38 and get to mid-high 40's full load. I'd like to volt-mod, but I'm scared to mess something up. I know that it is voltage that is holding me back from higher OC's on my GPU, and possibly RAM.

im using the 81.84 drivers so it uses my dual core quite well. this is all on air cooling, stock from MSI. real quick, i just reformated my pc, and an old problem came back, my computer will not manually restart nor will it turn off. Windows will shut down, but the PC will just stay on and i have to turn off the PSU for it to go off. it when away for the longest time, but came back after a fresh install? why and what can i do about it...
