a Godmother, that is! 😉
My cousin came to visit today, and she asked my parents and I if I could be her son's Godmother. I was in such a state of shock (and still am!), my mother had to answer for me. Of course, I said yes.


Now my question is.... what do Godparents do (besides spoil you rotten🙂 )?

I heard that you need to go to some meeting or conference type of thing before the baptizing takes place. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
 
as far as i understand it.

if his parents die you bring him up and make sure he stays in the church and accepts jesus christ. Its more then then just taking care of the kid if death happens its a religious commitent too.
