I just found my Canon S230 camera

It's been MIA since before New Years, last pictures on it was of Halloween. I was all set to buy another camera(S410), when I thought I give it one more chance to look for it. It's been camping out under my bed. I had looked under the bed couple of times since it went missing but this time I took the box springs off the frame. I thought one of the kids may have taken it and disposed of it in the trash can. I'm so relieved now, I can stop blaming the wife/kids for losing it now. 🙂

Anyone else misplace something only to find monthes, years later?

How about decades later? Cleaned my garage about a year ago. Not just cleaned, but rearranged and organized everything. Got the miscellaneous hardware sorted and put in bins. Now I can actually find a particular nut or bolt if I need one, instead of buying more and more. During the process, I found so many "missing" tools, I couldn't believe it. It was just one discovery after another. "Oh, so that's where that went!" was uttered over and over. Found a stinkin' power inverter that's been missing for twenty years! Too bad it's broke. :disgust:

damn wife and kids always losing my stuff!!:|
LEAVE MY STUFF ALONE!!!
Oh wait......😱

😀
All of us married guys say that:beer:

When I was about 8-12, I had a pet iguana. He got big - too big to be cramped in his 30gallon tank so I let him walk around my room and the rest of the house whenever. My parents didn't mind because he always stayed out of the way. When he got hungry, he would show up back in his tank and I would feed him. He would then make his merry way out of the tank and go hide under a bed or something. He'd come out when we had company over - and used to scare the crap out of them. It was good conversation. One time he ate a poinsetta. It didn't phase him.

Anyway, he usually would disappear for maybe 3 days at most. He did eat bugs around the house - but there really weren't enough bugs in our house to sustain a whole 3ft iguana. Then, one day he disappeared and I thought he was gone. It was nearly 3 weeks before he showed back in his cage. The funny thing was he wasn't skinny or starved looking. I had already started making arrangements to get a new iguana and everything.. Then boom.. one day he shows up.

However, being the irresponsible kid that I was, I did eventually lose the iguana. He tore a whole in the screen on my window and made his way outside. I never did find him after that.

I was given a pair of oakley A-wire 2.0 sunglasses last year, by my girlfriend at the time. Went to a buffett concert in my RV. Had a few drinks. The next morning I couldn't find my sunglasses. Looked everywhere for them and couldn't find them. Anyone who has had a girlfriend knows that you can't tell them that you lost a gift from them while partying without hearing about it for at least a few years. So I did what every red-blooded male would do in this situation. My pocket was $160 lighter and no one was the wiser.
I sold the RV a month ago, in the final walk through to make sure I had removed everything that wasn't being sold with the RV, I found the glasses. They were behind a shelf in one of the cabinets in the back of the RV. A year before in my wisdom I had put them there for safe keeping, well they were safe alright.
Anybody want to buy a pair of A-frames?
