I was just thinking how much I'd like to have a soda right now, and that I'm too lazy to go upstairs and get one. Then I look down by my computer, and there's a can of Mountain Dew down there! It's all bent up and dusty, I must've knocked it down there weeks ago! But damn is it tasty! :)

I find that warm soda tastes nasty. You'll still have to go upstairs and get some ice.

You know...lately i've grown a liking for room temp soda. I dunno what the hell is wrong with me. Maybe my laziness has gotten the worst of me, since i won't go the extra few feet to fetch the ice. =T

I found some small sticky raisins or something stuck to the underside of my desk. They are a bit crunchy now, but not bad. They do get caught in between your teeth though!

Not that I'm too lazy to get some ice. It's that I find the ice melts too much and dilutes the soda. I'd rather drink warm soda than "half-taste" soda.

If you want a quick way to cool down a can of soda. I purchased a Soda Cooler at K-Mart a few months ago. It's a bit hard to describe, but it is battery powered. You fill the bottom tray with ice, and then insert a warm can of soda. It spins the soda against the ice and in less than 2 minutes you have an icey cold can of soda. Really great for those days you forget to restock the frige, and much faster then leaving the can in the freezer. I believe it cost about $15.

Since when does mountain dew expire? That stuff is like hard candy, you can eat/drink it years after you buy it :p

Wengel,

I learned that trick while I was in college in a town that did not sell cold beer. Just take a cooler and add ice and some water. Place the beer in the cooler and spin it every couple of minutes. If I had known of such a mechanism to do it for me I would have had it made. K-Mart should market those products towards college towns with no cold beer. They would make a killing.
