I just finished watching Philidelphia.

I was very impressed with that movie. It is now one of my top ten favorite movies. Anyone else really enjoy this movie? Also how long can someone live for with aids now?

Yeah, its a good movie. I saw it yesterday in TBS, twice so far. Didn't Tom Hanks win an oscar for his role in this movie? I forgot.

I agree, a very powerful performance by Tom Hanks.I dig the title song by Springstein, too

Sorry but that is unture.

Some people's HIV takes very well to the drugs out there, while some it does nothing. It just happens that the HIV Magic has takes well to the drugs on the market.

HIV is like the common cold, it is a virus. BUT there are more than one type of cold virus, just like there are more than one type of HIV virus.

So depending on the strain you have, is what matters when you do take the drugs that are on the market. Some people can live very long and some the drugs do nothing and do not last long.



BUT yes, very good movie!!!!

I wouldn't say that's necessarily true. You can certainly extend your life, but I'd wager the virus will catch up with you eventually. It's pretty nasty.
