Agree hatch was pinacle and rest series not as good. However, still definitely worth watching through the end, IMO. It was thicker in story than so many other shows and the benefit to me is that I didn't really start until it was all on DVD. I think there was barely much left unaired by the time I caught up.

I stopped watching it a few episodes into season 3. I just couldn't take it anymore. No answers, more questions, stupid relationships, terrible character development, etc. A few years later I got the flu and watched all the way to season 6 and then, even sick, couldn't stand to sit there and watch it. Last year I got the flu again and tried watching Season 6. I got about 6 episodes in and just had to turn it off. So terrible. I still have no clue how the show ends. I don't care. It's just that bad.

I loved the series but if you didn't like Season 1 stop now, you will only hate the rest worse.

I liked it until season 5, but like you never finished season 6. I had no idea how it ended for ages until some friends described it to me. The way they ended the show will create uncontrollable rage in you - it's seriously the most mind-blowingly retarded ending in a show ever.

The island on Lost had a pretty interesting mythology to it. That is what kept my excited about the show. They never really gave any concrete explanation to the island's mythology, which pissed me off.

the show was pretty dumb but with the hype and all the weird shit, it was like crack trying to figure out what the fuck was going on and waiting for the next episode hoping to get some kind of answer/explanation only to come out with more questions

Lost was like that buxom blonde you didn't want to admit was really that insufferably stooooopid until after she quit letting you put your car in her garage.

:D That sums it for me - now I did love the show and watched all the seasons; however I have no desire to ever watch it again...
