My personal take on community service as a punishment is that it is wrong headed. In my opinion it gives the person that any community service is performed only as a punishment. It makes it extremely hard to get anyone young to do service because when people drive by or walk by they have the idea that there must be something wrong with them because they are doing Community Service (Punishment)

No punishment, and we had shirts stating that we didn't belong to some Juvie group. I had to do it for Confirmation hours and to get rid of required freshmen hours early. It actually wasn't bad at all, except for the lack of sleep I got (worked 9 hours everyday). Anyway, I'm resuming my day job (for lack of a better one).

I also went to St. Pete Beach on the last day.
