It did for a while yesterday until someone realized you could nef to your hearts content and boost your count.

I mean yesterday when I created a private topic and made posts to it, it added on to my total post count.

Someone noticed that was happening (just in general, not to me) and questioned it in forum issues. It was quickely modified so posts made in private topics don't add to your post count.
