Holy shit this seems like a game changer. No more notifications ever time someone reply’s to thread I’ve posted in.

Now I just need to figure out how to not have it save what I post in he reply box. Sometimes I type something but change my mind and don’t want to post but the forum software is like huh uh not so fast...

I like knowing when a conversation is continuing in a thread I posted in.

The bottom part can be a pita but its also saved my but, so I like that feature.

I reply all the time to threads and not get notifications just because someone else replied to the thread (unless they reply to one of my posts). In order to get notifications to any contributions to a thread I have to use the 'watch thread' option.

Seriously though, there has to be a solution to it saving the text in the reply box. By far the most annoying thing about the forums. I’ve heard that if I delete the text and leave the page up for a while the background refreshes and doesn’t save it, but that doesn’t seem to work.

Click on the floppy disk icon and then click delete draft.

How long did it take you to find Alert Preferences?
