I just fell down a rabbit hole.

Apparently something called 'French Kissing Life' is some sort of thing where people look for ways to justify spending money on themselves by calling it an 'investment'

I then remembered a couple of key points that were revealed to me about a year ago during my daily self care practice.

2. Investing in weekly flower delivery

There is just something about flowers that light up my life and lift my spirits. Its said that fresh flowers on your bedside table absorbs the negative energy while you sleep. I don't know how true that is, but I know that when I wake up in the mornings, roll over and see my vase full of fresh flowers it puts a pep in my step for the morning.

This trip showed me proof positive that the Universe provides all that I need if I truly had trust. For years I spoke of faith but this was the first situation where I truly showed faith. Proof positive that I could do and achieve anything. Since then Ive traveled to over 15 different countries with my son and sometimes a nanny and never has the thought of lack crossed my mind. I never bothered to have a certain amount in the bank, it was never my concern as I knew, proof positive that I'd always be provided for.

I now automatically book first class tickets without looking at the coach price. I didn't wait until I felt that I could afford it to do so. I started doing so and I then became able to afford it.

How it changed me as a woman

I realized that I am worth the up-leveled experience. That I love luxury. I love the flight attendants knowing me by name. I enjoy them asking to take my blazer or jacket and hang it for me. I enjoy having a drink while the plane is still loading. The over all up-leveled experience isn't just an enjoyment, it is meant for me. Everyday, in every part of my life. First class has become my way of living.

Wat? So basically just start spending money and the Universe will, somehow, provide for you?

Since then I have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars (literally) into high ticket coaching for personal development and business. I currently am involved in a high ticket program, 1 high level mastermind and have bought countless digital programs.

Sounds legit. I mean a 1 high level mastermind is only one step below an ultra mega level 1 super mastermind so she is so very close to greatness

My top Investments that changed me as a Woman
1. Investing in a Luxury Handbag
But, what did change for me that day was not creating so much drama in my head about what I was worthy or not worthy for, to stop judging other women for how they invest their money and to honor what I want. And, I have been taking exquisite care of my bag for years. It will be with me for a long time as a reminder of that young woman who finally rallied the courage to buy the bag.

When I think of things that require courage 'buying an expensive bag' doesn't make the list

(Disclaimer: This isn't to say that there aren't like 2 good things on the list or that someone shouldn't buy something they can afford but lets treat this like what it is - looking for reasons to justify material desires)

Kinda sounds like me convincing myself I really need a new graphics card or monitor..lol. Luckily PC parts are a lot cheaper than what's going on in those lists...

Is this an actual thing, or is this something that pops up on blogs run by people who will charge you money so you can listen to how you can become successful just like they did?

I don't feel like reading a bunch of crap, but I'll go part way with the quoted passages; For instance, the bag. If you buy one bag, and you intend for it to last the rest of your life, it could be considered an investment to buy quality. I suspect that isn't what this is about though. It looks like a way to rationalize consumerism that makes the rationalizations religions make sound sane.

Either you are going to keep making excuses as to why you won't make the commitment or you are going to shut up and jump on this momentum train!!!! THE CHOICE IS YOURS! #HappyHolidaysv

Most of that stuff is people telling you what you already knew if you gave it a bit of thought. I suppose it's a useful occupation, but I think the time/money could be better spent teaching people how to be introspective.

I feel like they aren't even trying anymore. 'Uplevel' just sounds awkward

It sounds like they are trying to make it a thing like Six Sigma was a thing - but with more 'mind over matter' things where if you believe it it will happen. For instance the part where she didn't worry about where the $ came from for her vacation at first. She just did it and 'the universe provided'.

Isn't that a religion or something? Prosperity something or other? I'm pretty sure you can burn incense to attract money.
