1. Have a B of A checking account with debit card
2. Have a B or A savings account
3. Enroll in Keep the Change (B of A matches it for 3 months)
4. Create merchant account along side my current web hosting account.
5. Write a script to make a $.01 purchase every second from myself for ??? services rendered.
6. PROFIT!!!

--------------------------------
Sarcastic fraud is still fraud

The Grey area of fraud is not acceptable.

The intent of the program was to have B-of-A round up for "legitimate" purchases to encourage usaage of their card.

What he is promoting/indicating is not a "legitimate" purchase.

Therefore it is fraud.

No merchant account will let you charge your own card. Comes up as unauthorized cash advance.

Yes, but it would be less than the $.99 he's making. Still won't work, Bank of America is huge and I'm sure they've thought of this.

Hey, you can't blame a guy for thinking about it right? Anyway, I'm a stand-up guy and wouldn't actually try this (although I'm sure several others have). I don't even know if it would work.

But I did sign up for the Keep the Change and I think it's pretty damn cool what B of A is doing! (And I didn't read the fine print butI'm sure there's a cap on it somewhere.)

B of A ROCKS!

They are doing it. Most are paying their cable bill online. Several have already maxed out their rewards and have posting to their accounts. BoA missed the loophole.

2The matching funds will be credited to your savings account annually, within 8 weeks after the month in which the anniversary of your enrollment in Keep the Change savings service occurs. To receive the matching funds, your checking and savings accounts must be open and in good standing, and you must still be enrolled in the service. Annual promotional match will not exceed $250.

Ah-ha!

They don't match your account until one year after you enrolled. And the maximum match for the 3 months is 250$, after that itll be 5% a year.
