My wife's comp still isn't crunching wu's 🙁 I've got seti hide running, text version won't stay running...I'm at a loss on how to keep it going, yo guys, what am I missing here??
 
Maybe your wife got a hold of the "Seti Unhide" program. Ha LOL 🙂

get a service install, and I know there is a way you can make it re-attempt to connect if it can't, like every 5 mins or something like that, i have seen this done and it works flawlessly, you can also get a program like SetiDriver and cache some WU's incase your connect goes down, I personally run the GUI on the machine that I use for many other things just because it makes things alot easier, it always tries to re-connect if there is an outage which I like, so I just use the GUI in this case, but I use the CLI at work on my Athlon900 and it caches a couple WU's and since i've changed it to this setup it's never not been cracking.
 
Hmm.. mixing women and SETI.. the only instance I can think of is Poof and she seems fairly reasonable. 🙂

You don't need to understand women all the time. Just show them that you care very much for them.

Tell her that you care about her computer not crashing so you'll install Windows 2000 and setup SETI to run as service.🙂

Better yet, upgrade her computer to a dual Athlon🙂

Okay, just to make sure, I've wiped her machine of seti, and reloaded the flex installer. It seems to have taken. 🙂

Oh, and don't uninstall Wife 2.1, it will crash your hard drive and take everything with it.

Wife upgrade 3.0, working sweet so far, hard drive hasn't crashed yet 😎
