I am bored of watching tv, and was feeling hungry. I found TW (time warner) has free ON Demand channels.. not one, but a whole bunch.

Now I am watching Cat Schartz and Leo on TechTV ON DEMAND and also SPEED and BBC America.

I might take an ON Demand movie if i see something interesting tonite.. :)

I love the pause, rewind, fast forward and stop.. its like a VCR and the delay is not there.

it is pretty cool. it's somewhat like a server-based Tivo if you will.

my subscription with Charter include 6 channels of Showtime and TMC. there's almost nothing that you can watch there if you just happen to channel surf, but since i can get them in On Demand, there are some movies out of the whole collection that i can watch at any given time.

I watched all of Deadwood and Season 5 Sopranos On Demand, now I'm watching season 1 of Ali G on HBOOD and season 1 of Dead Like Me on ShowtimeOD.

Some programs are free. Comcast just started offering some free on-demand programs to get more people interested in digital cable.

Yes, if you subsribe to the channel.

Comcast has been doing penny movie nights weds in June and July, new releases like mystic River, etc. I will usually order 4 or five movies then tape them over the next 24 hours to watch them at a more conenient time. We havent gone to the video store in months
