i just remembered this happened last time i cooked beans in the microwave (but i let it dry last time and it took ages to get off )

It won't happen a third time

Oh, and according the miss jailbird herself, if you have dried on gunk in your microwave, put a coffee (tea) cup with water & lemon juice in the microwave, and nuke it for 1 minute. Supposedly will soften everything up quite nicely, and make it easier to get off (and, as a single man, easier is always better in my book!! LOL).

I always just put them in a small pan and cook them on the stove. Just set it to low and wait a few minutes.

usually i put a plate on top of my food in te microwave. its lazier than wrapping it in saran wrap. anything that blows the plate off deserves to escape.
