I just decided to get back into DC

I downloaded the new (For me. 🙂 ) 72 client from distributed.net, and my antivirus is going apesh*t.

Is this normal?

dnet.com is comming up as a trojan.

prob because there was some virus versions of this client.

We could really use some help on the seti end

Well, Team AT just received 82 work units, and has a puny little 1.33ghz crackin 24/7. 🙂

Here I go again. It'll be just a matter of time before I start upgrading processors and stuff cause of this. I won't touch it for a long time, then I get all gung ho.

BOINC will be more adaptable, more versatile and more contollable than SETI ever was, as it matures it will not only be for SETI but any other projects people want to do.

There's no set date for S@H2 to take over atm ,it is in beta at present ,my guess is that S@H1 will be stopped in 1-2mths ,but it is just a guess.

S@H2 will (hopefully) have the additional use of the radio telescope somewhere in Australia which will allow S@H to scan the southern hemisphere as well as the north.For more info go here🙂
