I just cut myself shaving, how long will it bleed?

Usually not more than 10 minutes. Having the scab in such a prominent place is annoying, though.

Quite some time depending on the depth. I've had them bleed as long as 2 hours.

Here's what you do, provided you don't have a steptic pencil: get out your underarm deodorant -- provided it is an antiperspirant -- and rub it on the wound. In the wound is more accurate. It'll sting if it's working. You should be able to stop the bleeding that way.

EDIT: I'm not f%$#ing around here, this really works.

I have a cut from my first shave that's still bleeding, should I be worried? It's been 5 years now :p

Just keep applying pressure. You might want to find a pressure point if it lasts another 7 months.

Depends on the cut. I would keep something that doesn't shed, (aka not a napkin or tp) on it and keep study pressure.

You do bleed for a really long time from shaving. I'd say "up to 3 weeks" but I probably wouldn't flat out say 3 weeks.

I keep a steptic pencil even though I use it rarely. It burns like hell. It does keep me from being late to school/work when I need it, though.

I had no idea about the anti-perspirant thing.

"I don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die!"

LOL

I can't remember what movie that's from, though.

South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut.

All bleeding stops...eventually.

Put direct pressure over it and it should stop in around 5 min.

Those pencils are lifesavers when you're that age and still slicing & dicing your face every time you shave :D

This is the first time I cut myself shaving. I usually just shave my beard however today I thought I'd shave my mustache off and I did just that. However in the process I cut myself as I was rushing.
